The Unusually Easy And Effective Technique To Get Six Pack Abs

If you’ve ever thought you lacked willpower to have six pack abs, you’ll be amazed to discover the secret ingredient is something easier, and much more powerful than will power.

Make it a Game

Have you ever been part of a team, or had a job where you always knew what your role was and what was expected of you?Six Pack Abs - Rob Gordon

This was one of the great parts about learning football. We were taught each day exactly what we were supposed to do to become good football players. We created routines around practice and games so we knew every time we stepped on the field how we were supposed to perform.

Good coaches knew that laying out the steps of how to play and how to analyze and improve our skills was the key to cultivating truly great players and teams. It was all about learning the details and making them habit.

When you join a bootcamp or hire a trainer, they are acting as your fitness coaches, teaching you the skills you need to reach your ideal body weight.

I hated football practice, but I loved the game. I was willing to put in the time and effort to be a good football player just for the chance to compete and show my skills.

Coaches knew we wanted to compete, and they harnessed that motivation.

I didn’t need willpower to go to horrible practices, all I needed was competition.

The secret to good coaching is the same secret to reaching your six pack and fitness goals – knowing how to harness motivation.

Creating any old diet and exercise plan is easy.

Creating a diet and weight loss plan that will get you results takes a lot more wisdom and skill.

The key to sticking with your new fat loss and exercise goals is having the right motivation, and I’m going to show you how to create that right now.

Creating Motivation

I call this the “burn the boats” model.

It’s what you need when no one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to lose weight.

Just imagine you were in a war, and your only method of retreat was by boat. Your commander, realizing you were under matched and were sure to be defeated, turned and burned your boats. He said “victory or death.” Which side do you think fought harder?

To reach your goals (any life goals) you have to use the “burn the boats” model. Don’t give yourself an easy out.

Public humiliation works great for this and so does losing money.

Give someone $500 and really embarrassing pictures or information about you or someone else that you do not want to go public (I say someone else because a lot of us are motivated to not let harm come to another human).

Tell them your goals and that if you have not reached your goals by that time, they can have your money and the pictures will go public (Facebook anyone?).

Some people do not want to do this. Why? Because in their minds, they are hoping to fail. They are seeing failure. If you want to succeed, take away all your excuses.

The “burn the boats” method is easy to implement. Fear is a powerful motivator, and makes following goals pretty easy.
